Are you 11 - 16 years old? Bored of doing always the same stuff? Engage in a healthy lifestyle, socialise with other young people, learn self defence and keep fit.
Judo as a Way of Life is a project supported by the Youth in Action and sedqa
The Malta Judo Foundation teamed up with Sedqa, the Youth in Action Program, and the National Agency that works against the abuse of drugs and alcohol, to embark on a project with the aim to promote Judo as a way of life, thus encouraging young people to engage in a healthy lifestyle. The project is aimed to target young people aged between 11 and 16 years.
Through this project, the Foundation, in collaboration with Sedqa and the Youth in Action Program, will be promoting healthy attitudes by gathering the youth in sport activity, therefore offering a beneficial activity for their free time. Apart from promoting Judo as a way of life, this project will serve to give a holistic education to the young people, whilst dealing with issues related to drug and alcohol misuse or abuse, together with issues related to obesity.
